  2.  THE DOMINATORS.   Written by Norman Ashby.   5 episodes.

  5.  COMPANIONS:- Jamie and Zoe.

  7.    The Doctor returns to the planet Dulkis to visit the Dulcians, a pacifist
  8.  race. There he encounters the Dominators and their servant robots, the
  9.  Quarks. The Dominators are a violent race who are planning to invade the
  10.  galaxy and have sent two of their number to Dulkis to collect fuel. They
  11.  land on an island which had been used as a nuclear test range during the
  12.  Dulcians' warring period.
  13.    The island has been cleansed of its radiation by the Dominators who use
  14.  it for fuel. They drill a bore hole using Dulcian slaves, planning to
  15.  drop a nuclear seed device into the core of the planet, turning it into a
  16.  radioactive cinder and providing a refuelling point for their fleet.
  17.    The Doctor manages to divert the seed when it is dropped and places it
  18.  aboard the Dominators' ship just prior to take off. The ship is destroyed
  19.  and the threat averted. Then a lava flow begins to descend....
